Biography: Toni started with us in 2016 after retiring from a long-time position with a local employer. Since her start, she has grown into the role of Manager within both of our current brands.

Positions We Hire For

The following positions work to service both Scaffidi's Restaurant and Tavern as well as SRG Catering Services as a part of their normal duties. 

APP-COOK: App-Cooks are responsible for the preparation of products including salads, calzones, sandwiches, and fried foods upon the customer's order. Individuals will adhere to the processes that are developed by management for the successful completion of our consistent product. App-Cooks are also responsible for food preparation activities, including but not limited to bulk cooking of items, slicing and cutting, preparation of workspaces including fryers, ovens, and grills, and much more. Individuals applying for this position must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, be able to work standing and walking on their feet for long periods of time, and must be able to lift approximately 25 pounds or more. This position will be scheduled predominately late afternoons and evenings along with weekends with both full-time and part-time available. 

BARTENDER: Our Bartenders are exclusively promoted through our pool of Servers. Outside applicants will not be able to apply for this position. Bartenders are responsible for the customer service of customers that are seated at our in-house bar, make all alcoholic beverages as ordered by the Serving Staff, and are responsible for the distribution of our Carryout and Delivery Services orders. Individuals would be responsible for stocking activities related to the bar, including rotation of beer and wine. Individuals must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, be able to work standing and walking on their feer for long periods of time, and must be able to lift approximately 25 pounds or more. This position will be entirely scheduled in the evening hours and on weekends with both full-time and part-time positions available. 

COOK: Cooks are responsible for the preparation of products including pastas, burgers, and sandwiches upon the customer's order. Individuals will adhere to the processes that are developed by management for the successful completion of our consistent product. Cooks are also responsible for food preparation activities, including but not limited to bulk cooking of items, slicing and cutting, and preparation of workspaces. Individuals applying for this position must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, be able to work standing and walking on their feet for long periods of time, and must be able to life approximately 25 pounds or more. This position will be scheduled predominately late afternoons and evenings along with weekends with both full-time and part-time positions available. 

DISHWASHER: Dishwashers are a vital part of what we do at the Scaffidi Restaurant Group. Dishwashers will be responsible for washing of all dishes for both customer consumption and kitchen use while maintaining adequate stocks of dishes in the various sections of the kitchen and restaurant. Dishwashers also undertake some of the recurring maintenance operations of the business, conducting scheduled cleaning on a frequency basis. Individuals must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, must be able to work on their feet and walking for long periods of time, be able to work in a wet environment, and be able to lift approximately 25 pounds or more. This position is almost exclusively scheduled in the evenings along with weekends and often work later into the evening. Individuals with daytime availability may also garner additional hours, as needed by the business. This position hires for both part time and full time individuals. 

HOST/ BUSSER/ PARTY ASSISTANT: Hosts are considered multi-faceted workers, completing duties in a wide array of tasks in their positions. First, Hosts are traditional Restaurant Hosts - greeting and seating customers, assigning servers to tables, and managing any waitlists that may occur within the normal course of business. Second, Hosts are complete the duties of Bussers, clearing the tables and sanitizing spaces to ready space for the next set of customers. Third, Hosts also work within the scope of SRG Catering Services, acting as "Party Assistants," completing tasks ranging from event set-up, general event customer service, and event tear-down/ clean-up. Individuals applying for this job must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, must be able to have critical thinking skills, be able to work standing and walking on their feet for long periods of time, and be able to lift approximately 25 pounds or more. Individuals will be scheduled predominately evening and weekend hours, but daytime available will equate to additional hours that may be scheduled to the employee. This position hires for Part-Time individuals. 

SERVERS: Servers are the face of the Scaffiid Restaurant Group, being the main caretaker of customers within our establishment, both within the Restaurant and Catering Divisions. Servers are responsible for all customer-service functions, accurate order taking, successful money management skills with settling bills with their customers and be able to critically think through situations that may arise through the normal course of business. Individuals applying for this position must be able to work on their feet and walking for long periods of time, be able to memorize the menu and specials as released, be able to operate the company's computerized Point of Sale System, be able to lift items approximately 25 pounds or more, and be able to critically think through every customer situation that arises during their visit with our establishment. This position hires for both part time and full time positions, with both early afternoon and evening as well as weekend shifts available. Applicants must be at least 18 years of age or older in order to comply with Ohio Liquor Laws.

Position: Facilities Supervisor/ Operations Assistant

Company: Scaffidi's Restaurant & Tavern & SRG Catering Services

Biography: Tylon started with the Scaffidi Restaurant Group in 2015 as a Dishwasher. Since then, he has grown into the position of Facilities Supervisor and Operations Assistant, directing maintenance operations, working with management to ensure accurate and efficient event set-ups, and working with staff members all throughout the restaurant on correct operational guidelines. 

Why I love SRG?: Ty loves his job because he is able to work in a variety of positions within the establishment and says that every day is a new adventure with the custom nature of our event services.

Biography: Renee started with the Scaffidi Restaurant Group whenever we opened in 2009 and has since then grew into the position of Kitchen Manager. She manages all kitchen operations in the evening hours!
